We stopped Andy Papp at his door and he said he had never seen Whitehead fly, and had not worked with him much. He said his brother had been in the plane when it would have gone up, but Whitehead seemed unwilling to go up without knowing how he woud alight. He believed Whitehead had the originial aviation ideas in the country and that others got theirs from him. He would like to see him given credit.
