He [Mr. Millet] asks me to tell you that the only machine of Whitehead's construction that he ever saw try to fly refused to rise from the ground. Mr. Millet does not know of anyone who ever saw Mr. Whitehead fly. He did not us any motor. The machine was to be run by two long blades or oars which Mr. Whitehead was to manipulate himself.
